Some Questions...
 
1. Who needs a Shout-Out?
A huge shout out goes to my wife Nicole for all her support and help always, to my folks Peter and Annette, who were behind me since I started back in 1991 and financially backed me for many, many years when I had no sponsors!

2. What is in your CD player/Ipod?
Right now I’m listening to Hillsong United ( an Australian worship band) and in my iPod I have Avril Lavigne, Delirious,Dido, Jack Johnson, Jeremy Camp, Matchbox 20, Sade, Third day, Three Doors Down and Tree 63.
3. What will you be doing when you are finished racing and saying "been there done that"?
That’s not really a question in my mind yet. I’m only 28 now, so I probably have at least another 10 or 15 years of competitive racing and riding in me! But ill probably stay involved in the industry! Perhaps a shop, riding gear importer..... Probably get involved with one of my sponsors companies? Who knows? Something will come up!
4. Best advice you have been given:
Best advice I’ve been given is the day my friend Wade lead me to the Lord!
5. If you were in the Guinness Book of records, what would it be for?
Records, I have a few, SA Long jump M.X Record Holder 21 cars, Australian record 20 cars, 1st Ever SA SuperMoto Champion! But Guinness record, probably I'd like it to be for Most championships won or Longest wheelie on the front wheel.
6. Three things you CANNOT leave home without on vacation:
- Got to take my scooter! Nix and I ride all over thru traffic and we love going exploring on it!
- My kites. I have a trick kite and a BIG drag kite!
- My Mountain Bike ( Got to train a bit )
7. Three thing you CAN leave at home while on vacation:
- My Cell phone
- Traffic!!!
- Bills!!!
8. Have you ever been arrested?
Never been arrested, thank God! Nearly a few times! But not yet!
9. Last time you felt alone?
Last time I felt alone was 5 years ago before I met my wife.
10. What magazines do you subscribe to?
Nicole gives me 2 subscribtions for Christmas every year. To Racer X and Transworld Motocross. Now I’m also subscribed to SuperMoto Racer. Every Month is Christmas now!
11. What is chill time for you?
Chill time for me is watching DVDs with Nicole, sitting looking at the ocean, and having good food the day after winning a National!
12. Do you shave?
I do Shave! Nicole bought me an Electric shaver and that saves heaps of time!
13. Who is your role model?
Jesus Christ is my role Model! If I could be 1% of what he was and is, id be Stoked! From a sporting point of view, Lance Armstrong or Ricky Carmichael!
14. What is the weirdest question you have ever been asked?
Weirdest question, I got asked why I train so hard in the gym and on a bicycle if I race Motorcycles that have engines! People really do believe that racing motorcycling is not tough on the body and that you shouldn’t get tired! Its a proven FACT that Motorcycle racing is one of the Most Fitness demanding sports in the World!!
15. What do you just dig doing?
I just dig riding bikes! Any bikes! Motocross, Trials, Offroad, SuperBikes, Bicycles... I also DIG Winning! I don’t care where I come in a race, as long as its 1st! WINNING ISNT EVERYTHING, ITS THE ONLY THING!!!
16. What age did you start riding?
I started riding at the age of 8yrs old! My 1st bike was a Kawasaki kx 60.
17. What is your favorite TV show?
Favourite show is Mythbusters and Top Gear, 2 Wheels and Scrubs
18. Best career moment?
Winning the 1st ever SA SuperMoto titles in the 450 and Open classes! And racing and banging bars with Travis Pastrana
19. Best moment in your life?
The day I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour!
20. What do you live for?
I live for training and winning! I love entertaining huge crowds!
21. What is your dream?
My Dream is to race and win against the Best SuperMoto racers in the world! To Race for a Factory team in the states and make a living out of racing in the US!(got that Now) I also dream of having house in Umhlanga Rocks or Ballito!
22. Most asked question?
I get asked all the time, "HOW MANY BONES HAVE YOU BROKEN"? or "HOW MANY GEARS DOES THIS BIKE HAVE"?
23. Most cherished scripture?
John 3:16 - "For God so Loved the world, that he gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life!" and Matthew 19:26 - "With man this is IMPOSSIBLE, but with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!!"
24. What Jesus has done for you?
Jesus has saved me from death and has completely changed my life for the better! I would never be where I am today without Him in my Life! Because of Him I have the best woman in the world, the BEST talent to do what I do best, the best family and sponsors!
25. What Jesus means to you?
Jesus Christ to me means: Best Example, Most Humble, even to the point of death for you and me! He means the answer to ANY question or Problem! He is the Beginning and the END! The Most High God! And I’m forever appreciative of what He has done for me and in me!
